When I first had the idea of traveling the world, I decided to start with the US. There’s just so many cool places here I’ve never been, so it made sense to start in my own backyard and see what life was like in different places. It also gave me the chance to explore without venturing too far off at the outset in the event something went wrong.

I wrote down a list of ten places in the US i wanted to live: Boulder, San Diego, Arizona/New Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, Portland, Utah, Austin, Maine (or somewhere up in the very northeast), and Davenport, Iowa. Yes, Davenport Iowa… because they have a professional wrestling school there 😬

So far, I’ve checked off Boulder, San Diego, and Arizona off the list (well, kinda, as it was less than week) and I’m excited to hit up a few more places in the US before i start taking off internationally.

With the holidays quickly approaching, I’ll make a short pit stop back in Miami on Christmas Eve and then it’s time to start thinking about the next stop. I like places that are not too big, and not too small. I prefer mountains and hiking to beaches and surfing. Fitness is a must. Places i can bike are a plus.

So, with that in mind, tell me where should i visit next in the US and why?! 🗺
