Life is a beautiful journey that affords us a finite amount of time to explore and experience the things we love. It’s up to us to decide how to spend the time we have and to make the most of it.
For me, there’s no greater way to spend my time than to go off on adventures and explore everything this world has to offer. And over the last few weeks, I’ve been fortunate enough to see and experience the picturesque landscape of Southern Utah.
Utah affords endless supply of outdoor adventures and beautiful scenery. From the emerald pools of Zion National Park, to the vast and unique shorelines of Lake Powell, to the diverse and majestic hikes of Snow Canyon State Park - there is always something interesting and breathtaking to explore.
Within the span of a few hours, I’m able to traverse scenic red cliffs and petrified dunes, uncover historical dinosaur tracks, and descend into mysterious lava tubes - ancient caves forged by eons old volcanic activity and time.
As with all things, my time here in St. George will soon come to an end. With about a week left, I won’t be able to see everything that Southern Utah has to offer, but I’m grateful for all the friendships, hikes, and adventures along the way.
I think, in a way, that’s true of life itself. There are an endless number of places to see, things to do, and experiences to be had - but none of us are afforded the time to experience it all. The best we can do is decide what we want out of life, go on as many adventures as we can, and be grateful for the experiences we’ve shared along the way.
Each passing day gives us another opportunity to live out our own life’s adventure. Even if that it’s just taking time to lie in the grass, look up at the clouds, and dream about all the adventuring you still have left to do ✨
