Gone with the Windmills 🍃

It’s been six weeks since I left Amsterdam and two months since I’ve shared anything on social media. Don’t worry, I’m still alive and kicking 😅 I just needed to take a break step away from social media for a while.

Over the last few years, l’ve tried my best to keep up while traveling the world full time. I’ve certainly shared plenty of photos of me looking pensively toward the camera or holding a backpack looking off in the distance for no apparent reason 🙃

But I’ve also used social media as a journal of sorts to reflect on my life and travels, sharing the ups and downs of living an unconventional life, and documenting my experiences and what I’ve learned along the way. For me, it’s been a way to connect with my friends and family. And to look back on who I was, where I’ve been, and how I’ve changed.

But social media is changing too. Lately, it’s all about trending audio and tik toks. Clever tweets. And constantly trying to keep up with the algorithms just to reach my friends and family. And to be honest, it became so exhausting and unfulfilling that I just needed to take a break 🫠

So I stepped away to relax, focus on things that felt more aligned with me at this time, and just be more present. But I’ve missed you! So, what have I been up to these last six weeks?

⛰ Moved to Colorado for the summer

Needless to say, I’ve been busy. But I’m excited to reconnect with you now that I’ve feeling a bit more settled and ready to re-engage.
