Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽

After one year traveling the US, it was time to spread my wings and see the world. And my first stop is in Los Cabos.

I have always been drawn to Mexico and dreamed of one day immersing myself in its culture, history, cuisine, and of course, it’s tequila 😅

Not as a tourist, but to take the time to truly get to know the soul of the country, its interesting people, and unique way of life.

But despite my excitement, the transition hasn’t been easy.

I was lucky enough to have some of my closest friends with me for the first three days, which felt comfortable and safe.

But it was soon time for them to leave, and I found myself alone in a foreign country for the very first time 😶

My first order of business was to rent a car. But there were strange complications everywhere I went and I soon found myself stranded and no one there with me to help.

Reality set in that I was now in a foreign country where I didn’t speak the language, had no support system, and had no idea where to go and what to do next.

I felt alone.

In that moment, I took a deep breath and realized this was just one of many new challenges I would have to face along the way. That I should welcome adversity and to find ways to learn from it. And in doing so, I would learn more about myself and the world around me.

l then looked around and realized that I was not alone.

The people here in Cabo were so helpful and patient with my broken Spanish. And they pointed me in the right direction.

I later arrived at my new home at Outsite in San Jose del Cabo where I met fellow travelers who were also taking their journey across the world.

And as I unpacked my life from my backpack and duffle bag, sat down for a moment, and picked up my phone, I realized:

I am not alone. I have you.

I am excited to share this next chapter of my journey with you. To take you to new places, introduce you to new cultures, and to share my experiences.

And hopefully, I will inspire you to follow your own dreams ✨

So, greetings from Mexico, mis amigos. Or as we now say:

Saludos desde México 🇲🇽

Let us take this journey together!
