This Mother’s Day hits differently. It’s been six months since my mom passed away. And while life moves on, dealing with her absence hasn’t gotten any easier. So why am I carrying around this pineapple? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Life can get pretty busy sometimes. I’ve been traveling nonstop across Switzerland and Ireland for the past three months while running my law firm from my laptop. And quite frankly, it’s wearing me down.

After living in Dublin for the last month, it was time to hit the road and explore the Irish countryside.

I have always been fascinated by dreams. In our waking lives, we are confined within our bodies and the structural limitations of reality. But in dreams, we live out our wildest imaginations that traverse through time and space, free from the limitations of our existence. One dream has stuck with me recently:

It has always been a dream of mine to live in Ireland 🍀 In fact, when I decided to travel the world a few years ago, Ireland was up at the top of my list. So as soon as travel restrictions were lifted, I booked a one way ticket to the Emerald Isle 🎟

As I pack my belongings after nearly six weeks in Switzerland, I took a moment to reflect upon my time in the Swiss Alps.

I settled into Switzerland last week and I couldn’t be more excited to be here 🙌

Ever since mom passed away, life has been pretty tough for all of us. Each of us struggle with her loss in different ways, and some days are harder than others. But at least we’ve had each other. Let’s meet the Wall boys, shall we?

Having the courage to pursue your dreams is hard. Sometimes we fail. Sometimes we feel down. And sometimes we have to leave things we truly love and care about behind.

Life can be pretty challenging sometimes.Loved ones are lost, friends come and go, and opportunities slip through our fingers. But despite it all, we’re still here.

After three months grieving the loss of my mother with my family, it was time to get back to doing what I love most - exploring the world.

Yesterday, I got to serve as the social media legal expert on the Dr. Phil show. Doing these appearances is fun, but there was someone who loved them more than anyone: my mother.

It’s been a month since my mom passed. Over two months since she got sick. And nearly three months since I returned home.

My beautiful mother passed away this week after a long battle with covid and pneumonia. Needless to say, we are devastated. But for now, I just want to talk about my mom.

As children, we were told we could be anything we wanted to be. We dreamed big dreams that were limited only by our imagination. The sky was the limit. But somewhere along the way, we stopped dreaming.

I’ve been feeling a lot of pressure lately. After living in Maine, I planned to explore the rest of New England by making Boston my launchpad for my next adventure. But almost immediately, I began hitting some major obstacles.

We all hold on to beliefs about who we are. But over the last few months, I had the opportunity to explore new experiences and different sides of myself I didn’t know existed.

We all have to deal with situations sometimes that are out of our control and bring us down.

For the last six years, I was elected to serve on the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar. And now that time has come to an end.
